What should I check before a bathroom or kitchen remodel?
What’s behind the walls. Old leaks, rotted subfloors, mold and outdated plumbing or wiring often show up only after demolition, and older homes may have lead paint or asbestos that changes how demolition is done. Planning for that up front keeps the budget and schedule realistic.

Do you remodel bathrooms and laundry rooms?
Yes. The Rye bathroom and laundry project in our gallery replaced a damaged bathroom with a new corner shower and tile, and turned a wood-paneled laundry area into a clean, bright room.
Can a remodel be combined with damage repairs?
Yes. If part of the room is being rebuilt after damage anyway, it’s often the best time to change the layout or upgrade, with the restoration and upgrade costs kept separate.
Do you handle co-op and condo renovations?
Yes. We work within building alteration agreements, insurance requirements and work-hour rules, through the managing agent.
Do you take on basement finishing?
Yes. Because many basements have had water in them at some point, we check moisture and drainage before finishing and choose materials that tolerate damp conditions.
Do you do commercial renovations?
Yes. Our crews rebuild offices, stores and common areas, and the same team takes on planned commercial upgrades.
